I was trying to find an unbranded preferably velvet gift box for a high end gold bangle bracelet. Few choices out there. So I opted for this. Considering the heirloom bracelet I was giving is a $2000+ dollar gift, this does not match in quality. The inner white top is a coated paper with a sheen and was not properly glued down. The “velvet” covered cardboard that holds the bracelet in place had rough, unfinished white ends.
This would be okay probably for a lower end piece of costume jewelry, or just to store an item for your own use. But I would have preferred a nicer quality item. And true velvet. Due to time constraints in ordering and waiting for something else to arrive though, I opted to glue the white paper down and used a permanent black marker to touch up the exposed edges on the bracelet holder. It will work but wasn’t what I had in mind.
